Luca Leale

Luca Leale has been a Director in the Debt Investment Team since 2021. He has 25 years’ experience in manufacturing and structured finance, with a 17-year career in Project Finance. He has completed and managed around 30 transactions with a total value of EUR 27bn.

Prior to joining F2i, Luca was Head of the Italian Project Financing Portfolio at Credit Agricole CIB, dealing with all aspects of transaction management. He oversaw transactions and refinancing deals in the field of infrastructures, renewables and natural gas transport and storage. He worked in the Project Finance team of BNP Paribas overseeing the origination and structuring of numerous transactions in the infrastructure and renewable sectors as well as portfolio management and restructuring. Previously, he was part of UniCredit’s project finance team, where he handled numerous energy and Oil&Gas transactions. He started his career in manufacturing, where he held positions in business development, initially with Edison Gas (also on international projects, in Egypt) and then with E.ON Italia.

He holds a degree in Management Engineering from the Milan Polytechnic.
