TRM
The Waste to Energy power plant TRM is located in the South West area of the Turin’s Province.
The main activity of the plant is the disposal, through the incineration process, of Urban Waste (residual after the waste separate collection process) and Special Waste (only non dangerous categories).
F2i acquired 80% stake of TRM SpA in joint venture with the Iren Group, one of the most important Italian multi-utilities, after winning a public auction arranged by the Turin Municipality.
The acquisition was executed through a NewCo, owned by F2i (75% stake) and Iren Group (25% stake).
F2i sold its shares in January 2016.
